When there\u2019s a USB 3.0 driver update available, it will automatically download and install the USB 3.0 drivers, as long as they\u2019re digitally signed. This means that the manufacturer has programmed the driver in a specific way to work entirely on Windows 10.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some are digitally signed and will automatically install, but others won\u2019t. After the USB driver update is complete, you may want to consider checking Device Manager to see if the driver version is correct.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click the <strong>Windows <\/strong>icon on the toolbar, type Update, and then click <strong>Check for updates<\/strong>.<\/li><li>When the window appears, click the <strong>Check for Updates <\/strong>button. If it says that you\u2019re up to date, there\u2019s no need to go any further.<\/li><li>If It does find an update, Windows will automatically download and install it. When you have issues with your USB 3 ports, there are a couple of different ways of performing a driver update within Device Manager. You can uninstall it then reboot your computer, or you can manually update it.
