Doing so may brick the unit and will need to be sent for repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Update-the-Ditto-Looper-firmware-on-a-PC\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh2 swheader\">Update the Ditto Looper firmware on a PC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the Ditto Looper instructions below to update the firmware on your PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f2f1f0\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div style=\"padding: 10px\">\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcelectronic.com\/search-results.html?queryStr=ditto+looper\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">TC Electronic Looper page<\/a>, then click the Ditto Looper you use to access the TC Electronic firmware update file.<\/li><li>Navigate to the <em>Product Library<\/em> section, click <strong>Firmware<\/strong>, then click Ditto Looper for Windows Firmware Version x.x<\/li><li>Go to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder and extract the <strong>.zip <\/strong>file.<\/li><li>Connect your Ditto Looper to your computer via the USB mini B cable.<\/li><li>Set your Ditto Looper to boot mode by inserting the power cable while holding down the footswitch.\u00a0<ul><li>The LED will turn green to indicate it is in boot mode and ready for the software update.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Launch the updater downloaded in step 1, select Ditto Boot from the Output Device drop-down menu<em><s>, select Ditto Boot.<\/s><\/em><\/li><li>After this, click the green update button to start the update.<\/li><li>When the progress bar reaches 100%, the LED on the pedal will change.
