We&#8217;ve tested these out and can assure you that your audio is being processed perfectly fine.<\/p>\n<p>The reason this happens is because your DAW is expecting the hard drive to write data at a constant rate like disk drives do. A solid state drive writes data at super high speeds across each memory cell with a momentary pause when switching memory cells. When the SSD makes the jump to the next cell, the DAW may &#8220;hiccup.&#8221; This is only a visual thing and depends on how many tracks you are recording and at what sample rate\/resolution.
