{"id":1718749,"date":"2013-07-23T20:38:39","date_gmt":"2013-07-23T20:38:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=1718749"},"modified":"2024-09-05T14:16:53","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T18:16:53","slug":"broken-lost-or-stolen-ilok","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/broken-lost-or-stolen-ilok\/","title":{"rendered":"Broken, lost or stolen iLok"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If your iLok has been broken, has stopped functioning correctly, or was lost or stolen, navigate over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ilok.com\/faq_rma.html#lost_stolen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iLok Support Page<\/a> where you can submit an RMA and recover your licenses and get a new iLok.<\/p>\n<p>Before you do that, though, we suggest trying the following things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"line-height: 13px;\">Download and install the current version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilok.com\/#!license-manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iLok License Manager<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Be sure the iLok is plugged directly into your computer and not through a USB hub.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re on a Mac, open up System Profiler (Applications&gt;Utilities&gt;System Profiler) and click the USB category. If the iLok does not show up here (while it&#8217;s plugged in) then it is likely broken.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re running Windows, open up the Device Manager and see if the iLok shows up there.
