If you are installing your PLAY Powered Libraries on a new computer, but already have the Sample content on a hard drive from an older computer,\u00a0 you do not<\/em> need to install from the discs. Simply install the latest PLAY Software Update from our PLAY Updates Page<\/a> and select all of the libraries you’d like to install from the custom install menu. The PLAY software update installs the entire feature for each product you select from the custom menu.<\/p>\n

MAC USERS PLEASE NOTE: the “customize” button on the last dialog window of the PLAY software update will bring up the custom menu.<\/p>\n

After installing your libraries from the PLAY Software Update, you’ll need to link PLAY to the new library locations, which is adding them to your ‘Favorites’ window in the PLAY browser screen. To do this:<\/p>\n

  1. Open Play and go to the ‘Browser’ window<\/li>\n
  2. In your ‘Favorites’ section of the ‘Browser’ window control+click (MAC) or right-click (PC) on the window (an empty part of the window) to bring up the ‘Add Another Product Library’ dialogue.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the specific Library you are adding to the favorites window.<\/li>\n
  4. A new window will open asking you to locate the library… it is IMPORTANT that you select that Library’s INSTRUMENTS folder itself (not the Samples folder or the Library folder above it, the actual INSTRUMENTS folder for that product).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[],"storecat":[],"itemids":[],"manufacturers":[33322],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n
