Follow the steps below to prepare Apollo for use.<\/h4>\n

    1. Install the software.<\/strong>
      \nLaunch the Software Installer from the included CD-ROM or software download<\/a>. Restart the computer after installation is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Connect Apollo to the computer via FireWire and power up the unit.<\/strong>
          \nTurn off any connected speakers before powering Apollo.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Open the UAD Meter & Control Panel application.<\/strong>
              \nThe application can be accessed under the blue UA diamond icon in the OS X Menu Bar at upper right of screen. (The location of the application file is: Startup Disk\/Applications\/Powered Plug-Ins Tools\/UAD Meter & Control Panel.app)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. Open the \u201cPlug-Ins\u201d panel within the UAD Meter & Control Panel application.<\/strong>
                  \nAccess the Plug-Ins panel by clicking the menu button in the UAD Meter window and selecting \u201cPlug-Ins…\u201d from the menu (or type Cmd-P as a shortcut).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

                    1. Click the \u201cAuthorize Plug-Ins…\u201d button.<\/strong>
                      \nThe web browser will connect to the Internet. Create (or login to) your my.uaudio.com account to register Apollo and activate UAD plug-in licenses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

                        1. Download the Authorization file.<\/strong>
                          \nClick the \u201cDownload Authorizations\u00bb\u201d button at the bottom of registration page to download the auth file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

                            1. Load the Authorization file.<\/strong>
                              \nDouble-click the downloaded auth file to authorize Apollo (the file is downloaded to the default location specified by the web browser). When the “Authorizations successfully updated” dialog appears, click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n
