TDM and HTDM instruments are accessed in the same way MAS and AU instruments are when you are using the MOTU Audio System (MAS). To open a TDM\/HTDM instrument, go to Project menu > Add Track > Instrument Track<\/em> and select the desired instrument from the list. <\/p>\n

RTAS instruments must be inserted as plug-ins on an audio track. This track must be record-enabled for the plug-in to receive MIDI input. For more information on using RTAS plug-ins in DP, check out the tech note, How do I use RTAS plug-ins in Digital Performer?<\/a>. <\/p>\n

For TDM, HTDM, and RTAS instruments, you will need to create a MIDI track to trigger the instrument.
