Here’s how you can copy the sounds of a combination to
\nmultiple tracks, and record your performance.
\nMake sure that the global MIDI channel (Global P1:
\nMIDI, “MIDI Channel”) is set to 01.
\n1 Create a new song.
\n2 Execute the page menu command “Copy From
\nCombi.”
\nA dialog box will appear.
\nSelect the combination that you want to copy (i.e., the
\ncopy source).
\nPress the COMBI BANK [INT-B] key, then press
\nnumeric keys [8], [5], and finally press the [ENTER]
\nkey. I-B085: Steely Keys will be selected.
\nWe will copy the effect settings of the combination as
\nwell, so check the “With Effects” check box.
\nSince we want to copy the settings of the combination’s
\neight timbres to tracks 1-8, select Track 1 to 8.
\nIf you have selected Track 1 to 8, you will be able to
\nselect “Auto adjust Arp setting for Multi REC.” If you
\ncheck this check box, the MIDI channel etc. of some of
\nthe tracks will automatically be adjusted to ensure that
\nthe same sound as was used during recording will be
\nreproduced by the playback when you perform multi-track
\nrecording with the arpeggiator turned on.
\nDepending on the combination settings, it may be
\nnecessary to make additional changes to the track set-tings.
\nIn order to use the “Auto adjust Arp setting for Multi
\nREC” function, the combination to be copied must
\nhave been written with the ARPEGGIATOR [ON\/
\nOFF] key turned on.
\nPress the OK button to execute the copy.
\nNotice that when you execute this command, the
\n“PLAY\/REC\/MUTE” setting of each track will be set
\nautomatically.
\nNow go to the MENU button until you see TRACK PARAMETERS and change this to BTH instead of INT
