Please back-up your data before performing this upgrade. Also in this<br \/>download is a revised version of the factory data, optimized for Version 2.0.<br \/>1. Hold down the [ENTER] and [LOCATE] buttons while turning on the Karma. The display<br \/>will show &#8220;Please insert System 1 disk&#8221;.<br \/>2. Insert System Disk #1 of the 2.0 OS version into the drive.<br \/>3. New System Software installation will begin at this point. DO NOT INTERRUPT THE<br \/>POWER WHILE THE SYSTEM IS BEING UPDATED!<br \/>4. During installation the following messages will appear:<br \/>&#8211; &#8220;Now loading&#8230;&#8221;<br \/>&#8211; &#8220;Now erasing ROM&#8221;<br \/>&#8211; &#8220;Checking system&#8217;s checksum&#8221;<br \/>5. Shortly, you will be prompted with &#8220;please change to a No.002 disk&#8221;<br \/>6. Eject Disk 1 and insert System Disk No. 2 into the drive. When it finishes loading you will<br \/>be prompted for the third and final disk.<br \/>7. When the following messages appear, O.S. installation has been completed successfully<br \/>and the Karma will restart automatically:<br \/>&#8211; &#8220;Checking the system&#8217;s check sum&#8221;<br \/>&#8211; &#8220;System load was completed&#8221;<br \/>8. Turn Off the Karma, and once again, turn it back ON while holding down the [ENTER] and<br \/>[LOCATE] buttons. Insert the first GE disk and the data will begin to load. When prompted,<br \/>insert the second GE disk. The Karma will restart when the data has finished loading.<br \/>9.
