For Cubase VST under Windows, please make sure you use 5.0rc2.<br \/>Earlier versions have some technical problems with ReWire connections.<br \/>OMS &#8211; Very Important information for MacOS<br \/>Users!<br \/>l If you have OMS installed, Cubase VST must be set to use OMS as well.<br \/>-The OMS Compatibility setting in the MIDI System Setup dialog<br \/>must be set to &#8220;IN &#038; OUT&#8221;!<br \/>-&#8220;Run MIDI In Background&#8221; must be enabled in the OMS MIDI Setup!<br \/>Activating ReWire Channels in Cubase VST<br \/>! Do not deactivate Play in Background (on the Options menu in Cubase<br \/>VST). If you do, the communication between the two programs<br \/>will be lost.<br \/>To activate the desired inputs from Reason, in Cubase VST, proceed as follows:<br \/>1. Pull down the Panels menu and select ReWire.<br \/>2. Click on the green buttons to activate\/deactivate the desired channels.<br \/>The 64 channels correspond to the 64 audio inputs on the Hardware Device<br \/>in Reason. Please note that the more ReWire channels you activate,<br \/>the more processing power is required.<br \/>3. If desired, double click on the labels in the right column, and type in<br \/>another name.<br \/>This is the label that will be used in VST to identify the ReWire channel.<br \/>The ReWire window in Cubase VST. Here, four channels are activated.<br \/>4.
