You will also load data when you want to restore<br \/>all programs, combinations, and other settings to the factory-<br \/>set condition. In this case, you will load the PRELOAD.<br \/>PCG file (contained in the included floppy disk<br \/>and on the internal hard drive).<br \/>When loading programs, combinations, songs, user<br \/>drum kits, or user arpeggio patterns, you must make<br \/>sure that the Global mode memory protect setting is<br \/>unchecked. <br \/>The procedure for restoring the factory settings is<br \/>described below. Here we will explain how to load the<br \/>PRELOAD.PCG file from the included floppy disk.<br \/>A .PCG file contains programs, combinations, drum kits,<br \/>user arpeggio patterns, and global settings.<br \/>When you load a .PCG file, the data in the TRITON<br \/>Studio’s internal memory will be overwritten by<br \/>the data from the .PCG file (programs, combinations,<br \/>drum kits, user arpeggio patterns, and global settings).<br \/>If you want to keep the data that is currently in<br \/>internal memory, you must first use “Save All” or<br \/>“Save PCG” to save the current data.<br \/>1 Insert the “TNSFD-00P” floppy disk into the TRITON<br \/>Studio’s floppy disk drive.<br \/>For details on floppy disk handling, please be sure to<br \/>read “Cautions when handling floppy disks”<br \/>2 Enter Disk mode, and touch the LCD screen to make<br \/>the TRITON STUDIO detect the disk.<br \/>3 Press the Load tab to access the Load page.<br \/>The LCD screen will display file information.<br \/>4 Use “Drive select” to select the FDD.<br \/>5 Select the PRELOAD.PCG file.<br \/>The selected file will be highlighted.<br \/>6 Select the page menu command “Load Selected.”<br \/>A dialog box will appear.<br \/>The contents and settings of the dialog box will differ<br \/>depending on the type of file that you are loading.<br \/>7 In “.PCG Contents,” specify the data that you want to<br \/>load.<br \/>If you want to load all data from the .PCG file, select<br \/>All.<br \/>Since in this example we want to restore all settings to<br \/>the factory-set condition, we will select All. If you load<br \/>PRELOAD.PCG from the included floppy disk with<br \/>All selected, all data of the .PCG file will be loaded as<br \/>follows.<br \/>Programs<br \/>– Bank I-A file: loaded into bank INT-A<br \/>– Bank I-B file: loaded into bank INT-B<br \/>– Bank I-C file: loaded into bank INT-C<br \/>– Bank I-D file: loaded into bank INT-D<br \/>– Bank I-E file: loaded into bank INT-E<br \/>Combinations<br \/>– Bank I-A file: loaded into bank INT-A<br \/>– Bank I-B file: loaded into bank INT-B<br \/>– Bank I-C file: loaded into bank INT-C<br \/>– Bank I-D file: loaded into bank INT-D<br \/>Drum Kits<br \/>– 000-015 (I-A\/B) file: loaded into bank I-A\/B<br \/>– 128-143 (User) file: loaded into bank User<br \/>Arpeggio Patterns<br \/>– 000-199 (I-A\/B) file: loaded into bank I-A\/B<br \/>– 312-506 (User) file: loaded into bank User<br \/>8 Press the OK button to load the data.<br \/>Never remove the media while data is being loaded.<br \/>Loading individual banks from a .PCG file<br \/>In the dialog box for step 6 of “Loading data\/Restoring<br \/>the factory settings,” it is also possible to set “.PCG Contents”<br \/>to specify an individual bank to load, and set the<br \/>“To” field to select the bank into which that data will be<br \/>loaded.<br \/>When you execute loading, only the programs, combinations,<br \/>drum kits, and user arpeggio pattern data of the<br \/>selected bank will be loaded into the load-destination<br \/>bank you specify.
