In<br \/>either case, the digital output of the K2600 (a single stereo pair) is wired in parallel with output<br \/>pair A. It gets whatever signal is routed to Output A on the OUTPUT page of the Studio Editor.<br \/>With the digital I\/O option, you can use the XLR or optical outputs, or the separate KDS outputs<br \/>(although this requires the Kurzweil DMTi digital interface for full functionality). With the<br \/>sampling option, you can use the XLR or optical outputs.<br \/>The sampling option also enables you to sample the K2600Õs own output.<br \/>1. On the Sample-mode page, set the Input parameter to Analog, and the Src parameter to<br \/>Int. This routes the signal at the K2600Õs Mix outputs to the analog sampling input,<br \/>ignoring the external sampling inputs on the rear panel.<br \/>2. Set the Input parameter to Digital, then set the Out parameter, if available, to A\/D. This<br \/>causes the digital outputs to mirror the signal coming from the K2600Õs Mix outputs. (Set<br \/>the Out parameter to Dir to mirror the Output A signal at the digital outs.)<br \/>Note: If you donÕt have the Digital I\/O option, you wonÕt see the Out parameter, which means that<br \/>the digital output mirrors the K2600Õs Mix outputs.<br \/>When the Input parameter is set to Analog and the Src parameter is set to Ext, the signal that<br \/>appears at the digital output is the signal coming into the K2600Õs external analog inputs, and the<br \/>K2600 is acting as a very fancy, very high-quality A\/D converter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[],"storecat":[],"itemids":[24235,24243],"manufacturers":[33482],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Check out the How do I use the digital output? page at Sweetwater \u2014 the world's leading music technology and instrument retailer!\" \/>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/digital-output\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"How do I use the digital output? - SweetCare\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Digital OutputFor digital output, youÕll need either the sampling option or the digital I\/O (KDS) option.
