Check online for latest versions of ProTools, DAE, etc.  <\/p>\n<p>Installing The MP3 Codec<\/p>\n<p>1.  Once the MP3 option has been downloaded, make sure that it has completely decompressed (you should have a folder named &#8220;MP3 Option v1.1.1&#8221; folder, with no suffixes like &#8216;.hqx&#8217; or &#8216;.sea&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>2. Open the System Folder<\/p>\n<p>3. Locate and open the &#8220;DAE Folder&#8221; within the System folder.<\/p>\n<p>4. Locate and open the &#8220;Codecs&#8221; folder within the DAE Folder.<\/p>\n<p>5. Locate and open the &#8220;MP3&#8221; folder within the Codecs folder.<\/p>\n<p>6. Inside the Codecs folder, remove the old &#8220;MP3.dll&#8221; or &#8220;MP3Demo.dll&#8221;  (you can drag it to the desktop or another folder), and replace it with the newly downloaded &#8220;MP3.dll&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>7. The next time you run ProTOols and attempt an MP3 export, a dialogue will prompt you to enter a serial number.  Enter the serial number you received when you purchased MP Export v1.0.  You will only need to enter the serial number once.<\/p>\n<p>* ( The Protools installers should have already created the folders listed in steps 3-5, as well as the demo version of the MP3 option.
