This allows you to record and play more than one sound at a time. For this example, we will use &#8220;PR-A:12 POP SET 1&#8221; because it has all 16 parts turned on and set to separate MIDI channels. This will allow you to record separate Tracks with different instruments (e.g. a Piano on Track 1 and a Bass Guitar on Track 2). <\/p>\n<p>1. Press PERFORM. <br \/>2. Use the VALUE dial to select &#8220;PR-A:12 POP SET 1.&#8221; <br \/>3. Press SEQUENCER (see Fig. 3). <br \/>4. CURSOR to TRK and press the TRACK 1 button to select Part 1 and Track 1. <br \/>5. CURSOR to PART 1 and use the VALUE dial to select the desired Patch. <br \/>6. Press REC. <br \/>7. CURSOR to Tempo (the quarter note) and use the VALUE dial to select the desired setting. <br \/>8. CURSOR to Loop and use the VALUE dial to select the desired setting. <br \/>9. Press PLAY and record your performance after the count in. Press STOP when finished. <br \/>10. After recording, hold SHIFT and press BWD to rewind to the beginning of the sequence. <br \/>11. CURSOR to TRK and press the TRACK 2 button to select Part 2 and Track 2. <br \/>12. Cursor to PART 2 and use the VALUE dial to select the desired Patch. <br \/>13.
