Many Macintosh users are now working under OMS 2.3.8, given that many new programs and plug-ins require 2.3.8. OMS 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 differ in a number of ways, particularly in USB implementation. We believe that Opcode modified OMS&#8217;s USB functionality to better facilitate their USB product, the Midiport 32. This therefore brought on problems with our USB MIDISport working in OMS 2.3.8.<\/p>\n<p>Having said this, users of MIDISport products (1&#215;1, 2&#215;2, 4&#215;4, etc.) who wish to run under OMS 2.3.8 need to remove the OMS driver, &#8220;MIDIPORT 32 OMS DRIVER&#8221; from their OMS folder and then re-boot. This is imperative to Midisport owners who use Digidesign&#8217;s Pro Tools systems (5.0 or 5.01). The Midisport works fine once this driver is removed. Please note that it is &#8220;MIDIPORT 32 OMS DRIVER&#8221; and not &#8220;MIDISPORT OMS DRIVER&#8221; that needs to be removed.
