1. Launch ATTO Express ProTools.<\/p>\n
2. Choose the Drive you want to Partition from the left side of list. *Warning!!!! This will erase ALL Data on the Drive!* Backup Data first if needed!!!<\/p>\n
3. With the Drive highlighted , select “Erase Disk” from the “Utilities” Drop down Menu at the top of the Apple Menu. Hit “OK to Confirm.<\/p>\n
4. Select “HFS” from the “Create Volume” Menu in main Window.<\/p>\n
5. Type in the size of the First Partition in the “Desired Size” Window.<\/p>\n
6. The “Mode page Optimization” should be set to “Digital Audio” (if you are doing Digital Audio!)<\/p>\n
7. The following should be checked:<\/p>\n
Mac OS Extended<\/p>\n
Install Driver<\/p>\n
Initialize (Macintosh Volume)<\/p>\n
8. Press “OK” when done and then “OK” to Confirm.<\/p>\n
9. Now you will see your new Volume in the right window,and the remaining space for that Volume in the left window.
