To prevent double-triggering (when two sounds are played at the same time), the Self Rejection function is used. To prevent cross-triggering (mixed input signals between the jacks) by another pad or zone on a pad, the Rejection function is used. Both functions are accessed via the Trigger Setup Edit Mode. <\/p>\n
1) Press the [PLAY] button to enter Play mode. <\/p>\n
2) Press the [TRIG] button to enter the Trigger Edit Mode. <\/p>\n
3) Press the or ‘SEL’ buttons to select ‘TRIG IN’ (Trigger Input Number). The Trigger Input Number will begin to flash. <\/p>\n
4) Press the [-] or [+] ‘VALUE’ buttons, if necessary, to select the trigger input jack number for the pad that is double-triggering, or cross-triggering. <\/p>\n
5) Press the ‘PAGE’ button repeatedly until the ‘Self Rej’ (Self Rejection) and ‘Rej’ (Rejection) input numbers are displayed. <\/p>\n
6) Adjust the ‘Self Rej’ value as needed to prevent double-triggering: <\/p>\n
a) Press the or ‘SEL’ buttons to select the ‘SelfRej’ input number. The Self Rejection input number will begin to flash. <\/p>\n
b) Press the [-] or [+] ‘VALUE’ buttons to adjust the Self Rejection value (Range: 0-9) until the double-triggering is eliminated. <\/p>\n
7) Adjust the ‘Rej’ value as needed to prevent cross-triggering: <\/p>\n
a) Press the or ‘SEL’ buttons to select the ‘Rej’ (Rejection) input number. The Rejection input number will begin to flash. <\/p>\n
b) Press the [-] or [+] ‘VALUE’ buttons to adjust the Rejection value (Range: 0-9).
NOTE: When the ‘SelfRej’ or ‘Rej’ values are set at a higher value in order to suppress the incidence and intensity of double-triggering sounds, or cross-triggering from other input jacks, the selected pad may become less sensitive.
