This is needed for<br \/>the proper functioning of the following features: &#8211; Core PCI and ISAPNP<br \/>Services &#8211; AGP Support &#8211; IDE\/ATA33\/ATA66\/ATA100 Storage Support &#8211; USB<br \/>Support &#8211; Identification of Intel Chipset Components in Device Manager&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If users are upgrading to XP and are also installing the PCI-324, have them<br \/>update their bios with this update. It&#8217;s recommended for device installs for<br \/>Win XP:<\/p>\n<p>BD81XPP1.exe &#8211; found on Dell&#8217;s support website.<\/p>\n<p>support.dell.com: &#8220;This BIOS is intended for users that wish to install<br \/>Windows XP.
