These two plug-ins are mono only, and do not normally appear in the inserts for stereo tracks or effects returns. If you check on a mono fader, you will see that they both are available (and that the Stereo Delay is no longer available). It is, however, possible to “force” Logic to assign a mono plug-in to a stereo track. On Mac systems, this is done by holding down the “Option” key as you click on the insert. On Windows systems, hold down the “Ctrl” key as you click the insert. However, we do not recommend that you make a practice of doing this. Inserting mono plug-ins on stereo tracks has two undesirable effects. First, it uses extra CPU power to make the stereo to mono conversion. Second, the stereo image will be lost from that point onward in the signal flow for the track. If you intend to use these effects, it is best to record the track in mono to start with. If you really want to use them on a stereo track, then it may work to insert them on a mono Return, and send to them from your stereo tracks.
