Logic will &#8220;snap&#8221; moved objects according to the smallest grid display on the Bar Ruler; i.e., if the smallest grid markings on the ruler are 16th notes, Logic will snap edit moves to this. You can also defeat this grid at any time by holding down modifier keys while making the edit. Hold Alt (PC) or Control (MacOS) while moving with the mouse to move by the subdivision of the beat.
