This will reset most Control Panel settings stored in Parameter RAM. This is useful when this data becomes corrupted.<\/p>\n

1. Shut the Mac down.<\/p>\n

2. Now restart and quickly hold down the “Command,” “Option,” “P” and “R”
\nbuttons.<\/p>\n

3. Now let the Mac restart\/chime 3-4 times before letting go.<\/p>\n

4. Now when the Mac boots back up, your PRAM will be reset!<\/p>\n
