Configure your system for optimum performance.<br \/>&#8211;   Turn off Virtual Memory, Ram Doubler, and similar utilities.Disable Virtual Memory in the Memory control panel. This step is CRITICAL for fast &#8216;live play&#8217; response time. The Mac OS default is VM &#8216;on.&#8217;<br \/>&#8211;  De-install all debuggers (like Conflict Catcher, Norton Utilities) and reboot before launching Unity DS-1. Like other high-end music software, Unity DS-1 will not run when MacsBug or other debuggers are installed.<br \/>&#8211;  Turn off AppleTalk. Disable AppleTalk in the Chooser, accessed from the Apple menu.<br \/>Make sure the Sound Manager sample rate setting matches the sample rate setting in the Unity DS-1 control panel. Use the Sound or Monitors &#038; Sound control panel to set the Sound Manager sample rate.
