After installing Soft Sample Cell , you must create a new OMS setup ,so it sees the Soft Sample Cell Midi Driver. Create one then save it and then quit.Make sure this new setup is your current OMS setup.<\/p>\n
Then:<\/p>\n
1.Launch the Soft Sample Cell Editor and go to “Soft Sample Cell” and then to “Soft Sample Cell Setup”.<\/p>\n
2. Choose “Direct Connect” for sound Output.<\/p>\n
3.Set other parameters to taste.<\/p>\n
4.Quit Soft Sample Cell.<\/p>\n
5.Launch ProTools and make a new session.<\/p>\n
6.Create a Stereo Aux Track , and a Midi Track.<\/p>\n
7.Go to the “Mix Window”<\/p>\n
8.Insert the Soft Sample Cell Plugin into the top insert point of the Aux Track.Then choose “SSC Outputs 1+2” from the “No Links Selected” menu in the plugin.Now go to the SSC editor and load in some samples or instruments or banks off of the Demo CD that came with Soft Sample Cell.<\/p>\n
9.Then back to ProTools and select Soft Sample Cell for the OUTPUT of your Midi Track.(Choose Midi Channel 1 for now)<\/p>\n
10.Record enable the midi track and play your keyboard.<\/p>\n
