Make sure the Dongle is firmly connected to the printer port.<br \/>2. Download and run the POS1030.EXE Dongle fix from www.steinberg.net<br \/>3. Try ALL the settings in the computer&#8217;s Bios, starting with Epp mode.<br \/>4. Another printer port device connected to the dongle may be interrupting            data flow.  Disconnect this item. If it is a printer port Midi interface,  recommend the user purchase a second printer port.<br \/>5. Try installing Cubase VST on another PC to determine the dongle is bad and needs replacement.  This would determine there&#8217;s something system specific that cannot read the Dongle.<br \/>6.
