“Your Session Has Timed Out” error occurs when I register my Avid product.

“Your Session Has Timed Out” error is usually occurs when cookies for your browser is not enabled.

Please make sure that your internet browser accepts all cookies.

Internet Explorer:

  1. go to  Tools>Internet Option>privacy window
  2. move the slider for “internet zone setup “all way down
  3. push apply and ok.

Safari:

  1. launch Safari
  2. go to Preferences>Privacy tab
  3. select “Never” on the “Block cookies” section and close the window.

It is also recommended at this time that customers not use Internet Explorer 9 for product registration Avid.com, as the same error message may occur.
