Note: This only applies to EZDrummer 1.
Once you’ve installed EZDrummer, you’ll need to go back to your Toontrack account and download the latest update for 64-bit AAX support so that EZDrummer will open in Pro Tools 11.
The software updates can be found in your Toontrack account underneath the original download links and authorizations for your copy of EZDrummer. Find the link for your operating system and download it.
If you are on Windows, you will need to extract the .zip folder by right-clicking on it and choosing Extract All. Once the folder is extracted, you will see two installers: a 64-bit and a 32-bit version. Be sure to run the 64-bit version.
Finally, once everything is installed and updated, make sure you are creating a stereo instrument track in Pro Tools when you go to use EZDrummer. It will not show up on a mono track.
