Error message when opening Sibelius. “Siblelius has stopped working” then closes.
First, be sure to follow the directions in the following link:

If those suggestions don’t fix the issue, download Autoruns from Microsoft at the following link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
Run autoruns.exe then go to the AppInit tab and uncheck anything on this screen. Close autoruns and run Sibelius.
