XTSA is awesome !

Bought this guitar about 4 years ago and it has been a work horse for me. It quickly became my #1 guitar. I can get about any tone I'm looking for with the 3 pickup combination. The piezo gives a great acoustic sound and I still to this day have not replaced the battery ! The synth access tracks better than my guitars that I added the gk3 on ! I even do some dive bombs with the tremolo and stays in tune ! Love this guitar !

A Great investment

I own a handful of guitars and find this one to be the most versatile of them all. Coupled with a guitar rig, the GR 55 synth and a second sound source the palettes is unlimited. The build quality is top notch. More than worth the money. Buy one and find out for yourself.

Beautiful full sound

This guitar combines great acoustic tones with electric humbuckers plus single coil tones and synth sounds for a full sound not possible with standard guitars. I use this with the Roland GR 55 which takes my playing to a new level. Think of a nice chorus acoustic blended with piano, strings and a overdriven tube amp sound. This is just one of the combinations. I have spent hours of playing and still not scratched the surface as to what this guitar can accomplish. Highly recommend the Godin xtsa for the guitarist looking for the holy grail of tones.

Godin's Red xtSA

I'm really enjoying playing this guitar. The action is easy, I feel like I can hold chords longer, and play licks and riffs faster than any of my other guitars. The sound is varied according to the pickup switch position. The only issues that I have are that the tone gets muddied when turned towards the bass. I usually keep it towards the middle to higher end, so not a big deal. And the gig bag isn't the greatest in the world. I'm looking to get a hard shell in the near future. I purchased a Roland GR-55 and with that, I feel that I can make this guitar sound similar to just about any (mainstream) guitar made. I've composed one piece and am starting another; both are complex, and have a depth of sound that I don't get with the synth settings included in my DAW. Plus, when I connect the GR-55 to my DAW through USB, and use it to monitor the output, I don't get the lag that I do when I plug directly into my computer. I love the finishes, both the satin neck finish and the wood finish under the red stain. I was going to purchase the black trans, but they didn't have it in stock, so I purchased the red and I'm much happier. This guitar has a nice sound no matter type of output you use and, of the three guitars that I own, it is my favorite to play.
