Works Well
This power unit works well. I am not particularly talented with building electronics, but I found it easy to install in my home built case.
Great way to DIY your modular build
Super easy to install. Great, clean power. I have three of these in a 9U X 126HP, completely filled, and I still have headers and power to spare. If the whole PSU and DIY wiring is intimidating, this is an excellent and quality platform to learn on and use. Set up is literally plugging in two wires from the TipTop Studio Bus power module. My only complaint is that the PSU adapter has a very short lead on the barrel end, but that is to reduce any external interference, to ensure the cleanest power available.

I bought this to replace a bad power supply that was buzzing and whistling. With this new power supply from Tip Top Audio, there is absolutely no noise and everything sounds amazing!
9U x 104hp Rack
I purchased three of these along with the power supply that will run three of them to build my own rack, which I did. I have enough modules to nearly fill it, and some of them are rather power hungry, but I've filled up most of the output ports on all three boards and I'm not even driving them by half; plenty of power! They are protected against shorts (read mistakes, we all make them) and are doing a great job for me.
