Rated 4.5/5
Great transmitter!
Upside -- I never ever get dropouts, which was common with every other wireless unit I've used and I've used a lot of them over the last 30 years. I use this transmitter with the Sennheiser pedal receiver, which works well and has the only tuner that I've ever been able to see in direct sunlight. The pedal makes it easy to switch guitars, just stomp on it to put it in standby.

Downside -- They say battery life is more then 4 hours, but I think it's more like 3-1/2 hours. That means you have to have two transmitters, unless you're religious about charging it between sets. That's the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars.

Great system - keep the transmitter charged (or purchase spares, which this one is for me)
The Sennheiser XSW-D pedalboard system is fantastic - great range, great tone clarity, no static, and easy to use. The only drawback is these transmitters do use up battery power if you're not careful - I wasn't careful at the first gig where I used the system. 8 hours passed between load in, set up, and sound check. I left the transmitter power on. Oops. It lasted through the first set.

My fault. Now I know. I bought two additional transmitters (like this unit) as backups. It's simple to pair new transmitters to the XSW pedal.

Love it, but….
Love this wireless set, I have two, the range is good and no troubles with WiFi networks around, other sets I had gave me issues if I had routers near by. This set is amazing. My only complain is that battery life is poor, they should have removable battery, I damaged my first transmitter by trying to open it (bad move), but still I recommend it.

Concerned about battery run time
I just bought the base instrument pair, and my indicators were blinking red, indicating less than 5% power remaining, after little more than 3 hours. So much for the description saying they last up to 5 hours. I don't see under what conditions that would happen. My true test will be in a few weeks when they have to perform at my 3-hour gig. Sound was clear, but I was in the same room. At gig transmission will have to go through a wall or two.

solid connection, buttons a bit fiddly
Unit works as advertised. The only issue I've had is the power button is small and recessed making it a bit difficult to get to in a hurry.
