Good Quality Mic - Sounds Great

First let me say that Sweetwater is the best. Everything I've ordered is shipped quick, packaged great, arrives fast and the follow up is fantastic!
At this price point the XSW 65 vocal set is an exceptional mic. I've used many brands over the 40 some years of speaking and singing and I've used Sennheiser exclusively for the past 13 years and they are unsurpassed in quality and performance, in my humble opinion. Quick and easy to set up. Can't go wrong with Sweetwater & Sennheiser.

    Love it

I agonized over which wireless system to buy. Cardioid, super cardioid, dynamic, condenser, digital? I have always liked Sennheiser over Shure. Personal preference but I think Sennheiser produces a cleaner sound and provides great quality. I was using an e835 (dynamic cardioid). I wanted super cardioid because I am in a band and anything that reduces noise is better. I then could not decide weather I wanted dynamic, which i have always sang on or condenser. After listening to many examples (you tube) I convinced myself that a condenser mic sound closer to the natural voice. So with some apprehension I went with condenser. I could not be happier. I love this system. The mic is super light weight and setup is nothing. Just turn it on and it finds its own way. As for the sound, condenser blows away dynamic. Subtle yes but so natural and clean! It is a different and I am still getting use to but so far I love what I can do with it. The only drawback is i don't like the mute button. where they put it can get in the way and become accidentally switched. that's why all mute buttons on mics suck anyway. also bit the bullet and bought the gator case for it too. it aint cheap and hate the usual extra cost for a case but worth it. designed to leave the receiver in the case while performing at a gig. also has a spot to store mic and power supply. good quality too.

    Soundman ---- for running events

    Sennheiser XSW 65 Vocal set.

I am an audio - soundman for Run Racing -- a company that puts on - 5K's 10K's and Marathons -- here in the So Calif. area our largest event is the Long Beach Marathon - with a 2 day expo in the convention center - 31,000 runners - 5,000 bike riders -- and they all bring a friend or two with them - brings the total amount of people to around 78,000 people for race day Sunday.

We have 5 major sound systems - Start line - Finish line Marathon - Beer Garden --5K start line and Kid races - start & finish line - all with wireless Mic's -- we have been a shure mic users for years - but one went down -- so I called Chris at Sweetwater tolled him my problem -- he said have you tried Shenneiser I said no -- so I bought the XSW 65 Vocal set for our 5K announcer -- it worked so good - Shenneiser will be getting our business from now on.
