I agonized over which wireless system to buy. Cardioid, super cardioid, dynamic, condenser, digital? I have always liked Sennheiser over Shure. Personal preference but I think Sennheiser produces a cleaner sound and provides great quality. I was using an e835 (dynamic cardioid). I wanted super cardioid because I am in a band and anything that reduces noise is better. I then could not decide weather I wanted dynamic, which i have always sang on or condenser. After listening to many examples (you tube) I convinced myself that a condenser mic sound closer to the natural voice. So with some apprehension I went with condenser. I could not be happier. I love this system. The mic is super light weight and setup is nothing. Just turn it on and it finds its own way. As for the sound, condenser blows away dynamic. Subtle yes but so natural and clean! It is a different and I am still getting use to but so far I love what I can do with it. The only drawback is i don't like the mute button. where they put it can get in the way and become accidentally switched. that's why all mute buttons on mics suck anyway. also bit the bullet and bought the gator case for it too. it aint cheap and hate the usual extra cost for a case but worth it. designed to leave the receiver in the case while performing at a gig. also has a spot to store mic and power supply. good quality too.
