A Gig-ready Wireless System from Sennheiser

The Sennheiser XS Wireless 2-ME2 is an easy-to-use all-in-one lavalier mic set. Even though it's a breeze to use, a plethora of useful options are available via the XSW 2-ME2's LCD display. True diversity and 12 compatible channels ensure smooth operation, even under tough live stage conditions. And setup is a snap, thanks to automatic frequency management and remote synchronization. This set includes Sennheiser's popular ME 2 lapel mic — the perfect choice for presenters and moderators. The receiver's metal housing and the bodypack's sweat-resistant design make the XSW 2-ME2 a durable, gig-ready wireless system.

XS Wireless 2 systems offer simplicity, flexibility, and durability

XS Wireless 2 systems offer tons of flexibility, but remain easy to operate. At Sweetwater, we're impressed by how quickly you can get up and running with these systems. You can use the LCD display on the receiver to manually configure your channel, although automatic frequency management and remote synchronization are still on tap. True diversity operation ensures smooth performance without dropouts. XSW 2 systems are built for the road — receivers are encased in metal and bodypack transmitters and mics are sweat-resistant. And they sound great. When you fire up one of these systems, you can expect pounding bass, crisp treble, and low-noise without acoustic feedback.

ME 2 lavalier mic exhibits excellent performance

The Sennheiser XSW 2-ME2 includes their ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier mic. This microphone works in tandem with the included bodypack transmitter and delivers a sharp, clean sound. If you're giving presentations or inviting in presenters, the discreet and powerful Sennheiser ME 2 is an excellent lavalier microphone.

Sennheiser — exceptional sound quality and reliability

The Sennheiser name is synonymous with wired and wireless microphones, complete wireless systems, and studio-grade headphones. For example, guitarists worldwide know that the e609 and e906 dynamic microphones sound outstanding with pretty much any guitar amplifier, and their ruggedness makes them perfect for live use. The MD 421 dynamic mic is known by studio engineers to be a flexible solution for vocals, drums, amps and bass cabinets, with high SPL handling and excellent transient response. Onstage, artists know that when they're handed an e865, e935, e945 or other Sennheiser vocal microphone, they can expect studio-quality reproduction and excellent resistance to feedback. And in the world of wireless microphone systems, Sennheiser's evolution wireless systems give you the ability to set up many simultaneous wireless channels without interference.

Sennheiser XSW 2-ME2 Features:

  • Easy-to-use all-in-one wireless lavalier mic set
  • Delivers pounding bass, crisp treble, and low-noise without acoustic feedback
  • Access a plethora of useful options via a front-panel LCD display
  • True diversity and up to 12 compatible channels in a stable UHF band
  • Automatic frequency management and remote synchronization make setup easy

The equipment is awesome but the best part of Sweetwater is the professionalism of it"s staff. Keep up the great work Chris.

Great Stuff!
This is an AMAZING wireless system, and, happily, not subject to the current frequency-auction BS. It worked the first time, and has every time. Range is great, reliability is great, and sound is as good as it gets for this type of product. Sennheiser hit a home run with this one!

Huge Flaw w/ The Guitar Pack, Don't Recommend
When used for guitar, the proprietary cable that comes with this unit that attaches to the wireless pack is absolute garbage and needs to be replaced every 30 days on average for about $ each time. They do not offer a more robust, tour friendly option for the cable, nor do they offer a right angle quarter inch option. This is a senheiser issue, not a sweetwater issue. Sweetwater customer service is great as always and their reps agree this is a problem. Senheiser does not seem to care and clearly has incentive to keep selling replacement cables. I have had the unit for about a year now and have spent close to $ already in replacement cables. It's really a shame because everything else about the unit and it's system works great, but it's only a (short) matter of time until the cable goes bad and creates signal issues which is a huge problem for any professional musician performing on a regular basis. For that reason I would never purchase this unit again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

From their studio-standard MD 421 II drum mic to their trusty headphones and ultra-reliable wireless systems, there are countless good reasons why the artists and engineers here at Sweetwater are quick to recommend Sennheiser products. In our personal studios, you'll find plenty of HD 280 Pro headphones, e609 Silver cab mics, and other staples, while many of us rely on EW wireless in-ear systems onstage. Our long association with Sennheiser means we constantly have their latest products in stock and in our hands, so we're ready to tell you all about them. If you're looking for Sennheiser gear, then get the information you need from people who use it - trust your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
