Allen and Heath QU32 mixer.

I switched from mixing on analog consoles to the qu 32. This board sounds fantastic and it's very easy to use. I watched a few of the tutorials on line and had an engineer friend spend a couple of hours with me on the board and I was on my way to mixing a show that evening ! The iPad app works great and it's very intuitive. I'm very happy with this console. 10 stars!!!!

Wait for the green lights

First router, so maybe they're all like this. Once it's locked, it's great. Just takes 30-120 seconds to boot, then have to turn on and wait another 20 seconds for the digital mixer to do the same, then turn on the I-Pad and load it for a remote mix, the reason for this purchase. DON'T DO IT OUT OF ORDER, they won't talk to each other!! Definitely requires a UPS for this and the mixer.

Works O. K. Limited range

Takes a long time to boot, about 2 minutes. Several lights turn green when it has completed booting, that's good. When my mixer connects there is no indication that the link is working, no lights blink or change color. No indication of signal strength. It will work the length of a 500 seat auditorium line-of-sight. When at the back of a 500-seat auditorium behind a cinder block wall it drops out.
