    Clear sound.

I use these for amateur plays and musicals. At a recent show, some performers used more expensive (taped-on) Sennheiser over-the-ear mikes and some performers used these. I was surprised how well these sounded... Very acceptable sound. I recommend using a high pass filter, 200 Hz cutoff, to eliminate rumble noises.

Our preists also use these at our church. They have worked reliably for many years.

One big advantage is these are omnidirectional. I have had difficulty with amateur performers keeping unidirectional lavaliers positioned vertically. With these, rotation doesn't matter. Theoretically, omnidirectional mikes pick up too much peripheral sound... I have not found this to be a problem.

small, great pick up wired lag

Very small, hardly shows. I asked my salesman what mics are available that are good, but inexpensive. I'll glad I picked this one. Came right away.

    WL93 Shure mic

The folks shure mic company really know their stuff! this mic I'm sure will be as good as the first one and if it is we will be very happy with it. the first one lasted for many years until the wire at the end where it plugs in to the transmitter started to fray on the inside. this is where the wire gets most of the abuse because of all the bending that occurs there. I'm sure we could have had it repaired but it probably would have as much as replacing it especially with the great price I found at Sweetwater. Thanks guys for all your help.

    Great Lavalear mic

I am not a fan of lavalier mics but this one does what it is suppose to do in delivering great sound even when the head is turned.

    Really takes a licking!

The WL93 Lavalier mic is a great mic to use with almost any performer, as it has so many possible placements without sacrificing sound quality. Working in community theatre I see many levels of performers, from 6 year old kids to 80 year old veterans of the stage. We have had twelve of these in constant use for 6 years with only three failures caused by abuse(slices in the cable)that would kill any mic. They sound great, the price is right, and it's a Shure , what more could you ask?
