Great Arranger at a very low price

I got this for my roommate who is a beginner in the world of music. I have been able to put it through its paces and its an extremely nice Key for only $199.00 US. Its got all of the tones one would expect plus a bunch you might have never thought of. The best thing about it is the amount of control and response in the keys, it does respond to how hard you hit it very well. All of the controls to me are at least very intuitive and it has all the features I would expect from a decent arranger. It has a very quick power up, almost instantly ready to play. Everything is quick to access so you dont have to dig around in menus. You can quickly dial up a sound or set up a beat or whatever you want to do with it in seconds. With my experience I well know that there are better keys out there but I got it as a GIFT and the person who got it thinks its the greatest thing on the planet so mission accomplished. At the price point you can not do better. Using the onboard speakers there will be a drop in audio quality, but Good speakers on a keyboard are a rare thing. A personal recommendation of mine would be to either hook it up to monitors or Studio quality headphones and you will instantly get a more pleasing sound. When you hear the true tone quality through a good set of speakers its very impressive, and would be a worthy back up to many higher priced keys. Anyone learning on this will be learning on something of quality.

So much fun

I'm relatively new to the piano so I wanted to get something functional enough to start with. This keyboard is so much fun! Preset sounds are really good, and the 76-key size fits my desk at school well. The music and rhythm presets are fun to play around with as well. Keys are very comfortable to use. Such a fun instrument!

More than expected.

Keyboard performs with excellence -- I don't. Think I need to go back to college to learn how read the instructions. Instruction book of little help. Would suggest taking lessons to get full benefit. I watch numerous YouTube instruction videos and they have helped. I totally enjoy experimenting with it. Since I'm an old man (67), with just a little piano playing background,I have no aspirations of becoming famous. If Jerry Lee were still around, he would not be jealous. However, it certainly provides hours of relaxation and entertainment. Love the Rock-a-boogie drumbeat accompaniment. I occasionally play in C&W jam sessions with friends and use a small amplifier, but not necessary playing at home. Currently have it setting on a card table, but plan to buy a regular stand and bench for it soon. Summary: No regrets.

My true love!

Loving the many tones and styles on the keyboard and that it fulfills all my goals for playing and creating my music. The style of it is perfect and it almost has a full keyboard. It also records and the transpose function is perfect. The sound is wonderful without an amplifier and I can imagine how it will be when I order the amp for it. All and all, I love this board and look forward to the years of use it will bring me. Thanks for the opportunity to rave about it!

Perfect for my daughter

This keyboard is perfect for my daughter practicing her lessons. The full-size, semi-weighted keys are ideal for her to learn proper technique and positioning. The perfect keyboard for beginners ready to take it to the next level.
