Received my WCG18 about 2 weeks ago. As a Martin and Taylor owner my expectations were medium. Boy was I surprised when I tuned it up and started noodling, tone is superb, volume almost like a dreadnaught. I did not have to do anything with the action it was set perfect, intonation great! Only a trained ear could tell the slight difference between the Washburn and Martin, and trust me that difference is very slight. I am impressed to the max. Very little shocks me these days but this Washburn is a gem.

Great guitar at a great price

This guitar did blow me away. With its slim body and neck made it very easy to play. The price was a great plus and plays and sounds better than a more expensive Takamine I had and sold. This was my first order with Sweetwater and they really sold me on them. I want to thank Chris Carter my sales engineer for all his great help and even following up with my order. Best acoustic I've played.

I'm in tears!!

I took it out of the box and it started to play itself. This thing is perfection! The customer service was beyond stellar as always and as far as this guitar goes...I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

I was looking for a nice comfortable guitar that I could play everyday. I found exactly what I needed with this Washburn. My original Dread is a little bulky but sounds great...I needed something a little smaller to sit next to my desk and play for extended periods daily without discomfort. It just feels natural in my hands and is so easy to play. Sweetwater has been unbelievable...I will only buy from them for now on! Already have my son-in-law "turned on" to the great deals and fantastic customer service.

phenomenal value

For $300 I know I could not have bought a better guitar. The pickups are unreal and for such a thin body it projects like a jumbo.
