    Works great

Purchased this with GLX-D Pedal/ Body pack combo. Works great for my Les Paul. The cable that comes with the GLX-D is straight and has threads to screw mini XLR connector into transmitter. The WA304 does not have threads, but the latch works just fine to keep it plugged in.

    Don't forget to buy this

Better than what comes with the Line 6 and worth the extra $20.00!

    W304 cable

I followed recommend predecessors and ordered the cables along with the Line 6 system. They work great! They Rae 90 degree 1/4 cable to instrument.
With my SJ300 I had to switch straight plug to get the signal through though. I will be buying 2 W302 cords in the very soon future to replace the weak oem cables!
Thank you Matt for helping me so much.
I do not care if it takes a day extra.. I will use Sweetwater for my gear!
They are there to help, with expert help & experience!

    Nice cable

As a replacement for the stock cable that comes with the Line 6 Relay G50, this is an excellent choice. When I got the cable and hooked it up, there were drop outs as if I was using a bad instrument cable. I checked and sure enough I had received a bad WA304. I contacted my sales rep at Sweetwater and 2 days later I had a replacement, which has worked flawlessly. They didn't even want me to ship the bad cable back to them. Thanks Matt, for years of great customer service.

    reliable cable

So far, no failures on this transmitter cable. Much, much better than the cable that came with our Line6 Relay G50.

    Disappointing

I bought this cable for use with a Les Paul and a second Shure GLXD transmitter pack seeking a lower profile connection to the guitar.

The cable is only 2 feet long (6 inches shorter than straight TS cable which is supplied with GLXD-16 system). At maximum length it results in the transmitter pack being positioned on my guitar strap behind my elbow; I was constantly hitting it with my arm - an annoyance! The alternative is to move the pack down into a more limited space near the guitar body; this results in the pack occasionally hitting the guitar body while moving on stage.

The TA4F plug doesn't have a threaded collar like the cable supplied with the system. Although it seems to snap firmly into place I didn't know if I could trust it not to come out accidentally.

Even with the addition of the short piece of shrink tubing over the cable the combined outside diameter of the cable is considerably smaller than the opening of the right-angle TS plug. Stress from cable motion doesn't seem to be mitigated. This doesn't seem like a good strain relief system.

I solved the problem by ordering an after-market cable from a company in Nashville: 3 feet long, with shrink tubing over each connector and a threaded collar TA4F. It cost about twice as much as this cable but has MUCH better build quality. I have no concerns with it and am keeping the Shure WA304 as an emergency spare.

Shure: I think you can do better.
