    Volto 2 - Exceptional performance

I'm using my Volto 2 to power my pedal board of 5 pedals. My band rehearses for two hours at a shot. So far we've had 10 hours of rehearsals and I haven't had to recharge. I usually have no more than 2 pedals on at once, occasionally three with the tuner. So far it has exceeded my expectations.

    Great Gear.

Play in a Beatles Tribute where power, clean power, is always a concern. We typically play 2 60 minute sets with a 30-45 minute sound check and a 15 minute intermission... I power the unit on prior to soundcheck, and it will last until I power down at tear down (usually 4 hours later).
It powers: Boss TU3, Sans Amp Liverpool, Jekyl&Hyde, T Rex Yellow Drive, Carbon Copy, Line 6 Verbzilla, and a Radial A/B/Y. Granted that the pedals are not on a lot, most songs are clean, but this thing has been great.
It's small, mounts easily, came with enough plugs for my needs, is super easy to operate, and charges pretty fast.
I'm going to get one for our "Paul"s bass board too!
    Very nice.

    Works Great!

Personally, I think the concept of this power supply is the future of pedalboard power supplies. Lithium-ion battery power is a known quantity for reliability, and I've had no issues with battery life from day one. I'm actually a little surprised that this thing isn't way more popular than it currently is. I have a Pedaltrain Nano+ with an OCD, Xotic EP boost, Keeley Monterey, and a Hotone SoulPress Wah/Volume/Expression Pedal. This thing works as advertised for my needs. Once you experience the convenience of not needing a power cord, as well as the small, easy to mount design you will be hooked. The compatibility with pedal train boards is an obvious bonus. I've had a few rehearsals and a gig with it, all after an initial charge. It maintained most of its' charge for another month of practices at home.

    Great for wireless

I use this to power 2 Line6 G30 Wireless receivers and a TC Electronics BodyRez pedal, running into Roland Street Cube EX (battery powered amp). I'm using an XLR female to a male 1/4 TS cable into one of the G30 transmitters for the microphone. Works great! I have run it for about 4-5 hours on 3 occasions, in the last month, without any issue.

The 3 blue LEDs are BRIGHT aF! and give a rough indication of remaining battery life. The LEDs also blink when charging, to show about how charged it is. After using the Volto, I hook it up to a few pedals (not the G30's) and drain the battery completely, before recharging. I'm getting about 5-6 hours of run time. Fully charge the Volto before using the first time! They recommend 6 hours, mine took almost 8 hours the 1st time (before the 3rd LED stopped blinking). Subsequent recharge times have been about 4 hours.

I'm deducting a point for the plastic casing. If I dropped it from waist high on a side walk, it would probably crack. The casing REALLY shows finger prints too. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the micro USB charger jack is "tight"...be careful plugging in the charger.

    Works as advertised

I am running five pedals off of this little unit. I am only giving it a 4 because I can't vouch for how long it lasts since I haven't had it very long. Otherwise 5.0.

    So Far, So good.

I've now had the Volto 2 with a Nano Pedaltrain for a few weeks and have used it for two separate events each of 3-4 hours in duration. I recharged it between events even though it still showed 2 bars lit. On my board I have an Xotic SP compressor, MXR classic overdrive, Corona Chorus and a Ditto (that I only utilize for practice purposes). Undoubtedly my pedals do not require much power so this has worked sufficiently well. It renders my pedals noise free and it's nice to not have to plug into an AC outlet. It fits in well under the Nano.

I do however concur with the previous review regarding the USB port. I found the way the plug seats in the port to be a bit wanting. I have found myself feeling that I need to be careful with it. I'm hoping my impression is wrong. Nonetheless. I am at this point finding the Volto 2 to be providing what I need sufficiently well.

    Needs Improvement

The connection for charging is a mini USB outlet which is impossible to see clearly, especially when mounted on your pedal board. It must be inserted correctly or it doesn't fit and its easy to get it backwards since you cant see it. The USB outlet broke off inside my unit within a week. It also didn't hold a charge long enough to power my Pedaltrain Nano with 5 pedals more than an hour. This product needs more power and a standard foolproof power connector.
