Wonderful replacement for Reverb Plugins

I am using stereo mic'ing with two AEA R84 ribbon mics > CloudLifter > two of these tc-helicon reverb pedals. I am very dissatisfied with the typical reverb plugins so I decided to take a chance and get two (for stereo mic'ing going into my Great River pre). It doesn't have a huge selection of reverb settings and has a built in mic pre. If you are sick of all those overpriced crappy reverb plugins go with this pedal. It will decrease the amount of activity for your CPU (unless you are using TDM's which I might add are going to be useless with the new PT HD systems (i.e. HDX card, new plugin format). The reverb sounds actually better than some plugins I've tried (and I've paid thousands for those). The only catch is when working in PT or Logic you can't take the reverb out obviously. So yeah I highly recommend this little pedal and your reverb for your voice will sound much more natural.

Reverb

Im not sure if i got a defect or what it is, but this reverb goes from either too little, to too much. No matter which type you are on. Hall is certainly the closest to a true reverb, otherwise they are all a pretty terrible mimic. I also hate how Hi-Pass they process the vocals. But until someone really figures out this market, it will do just fine. Certainly less of a pain than my Voice Live 3.
