Great Cello sound in live stage production

Just finished a month long run with the DPA4099C on a cello, with at times a dozen singers and musicians on stage, this mic did amazing on producing deep, warm, natural cello sound with quite excellent rejection. We choose to have the mic in front of the strings to get the most even sound (as opposed to behind the bridge closer to the body). It was extremely easy to attach to the cello strings, our cellist had no issues with mounting this to her instrument. I own several of these and am a big fan on double bass, cello, etc.
