    Great Build Quality & Unique

I bought this to transport my bass amp and aim it upwards for gigs. It works perfectly. The build quality was better than I expected. This is built like a tank but is easy to move and setup.

    Gruv V-Cart Solo

I received my Gruv V- Cart Solo, but found one of the knobs was damaged. I emailed Paul Allen and he shipped me a whole new cart.. They paid the shipping. Assembly is a little tricky as the instruction are vague but after playing with it I figured it out. I have not used it yet on a real job but I have loaded all my gear onto it at home to see how everything fits and it seems great. I think I might order the decking as my power amp is a bit small and as a result it is riding at an angle on the cart. I also bought a flat bungee pack (2 in a pack) and they really work great. I think it will save me a lot of work moving equipment. Pat

One description item that couldn't be contained in a pic or spec is the top-to-bottom quality of this cart! I believe that I could trust anything I may order in the future from Gruv Gear would be first-rate simply because this small cart smacks of 'we care' down to the smallest detail. I appreciate your obvious devotion to this standard. Respectfully, Greg

Easily the Best investment I have ever Made !!!!

I have been a touring DJ for over 28 years and have owned hand carts dollies and a plethora of other helpful moving gear. All have had their uses but always seem to fall short somewhere, either in capacity or size or ease of use or the fabled "it broke" or the screws came off "somewhere" at the last show... I'm pleased to say that none of these short comings have been labeled on this wonderful little cart. It truly works as advertised, it's not "flimsy" or lacking capacity and it rolls like a dream with 500 pounds on it, and does a repeat performance of this feat 8 to 10 times per night while loading gear. My roadies fight over it...lol and best of all once you learn it's manipulations and how to transform it from cart to dolly or a combo of both you look like Hoodini and get compliments of how slick it works...I waited to write this review so I had the ability to honestly rate it's ability and after 22 gigs it's a keeper. Gonna buy another !!! Oh and our load in time has been cut almost 20 minutes at an average gig of about 250 people and that saves me $$$. Get one and get the XL frame attachment and bungies !!!!

V-Cart Solo .... Almost got it right

Gruv Gear created a great cart that is geared to the working/gigging musician and they almost got it perfect. Construction is solid and parts are well made. The 4 positions and optional add ons make for a great piece of gear. Where Gruv Gear falls short in my honest opinion is in the shoddy packaging and instructions.

I suppose that in an effort to hold costs down, the SOLO comes packed in cheap thin Chinese cardboard that does little to protect the unit other than to keep the pieces together ( and even that is questionable). My unit arrived looking as though it had served as target practice for a small caliber gun....riddled with holes and tears. The unit itself had a few scratches on it and if not for the way some parts were packed I would have assumed that I had received a returned piece of gear.

My second grip is in the pitiful instructions. Even though most of the assembly is common sense, the areas of assembly in question received zero help from the worthless instructions. I have assembled tons of equipment and I had some serious doubts about how I was having to assemble a few items. HOW MUCH TIME AND EFFORT WOULD A DECENT SET OF ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS take to produce and include in each package.

Overall, a very good and extremely useful tool that falls short of perfection due to some financial decisions where GruvGear really cheaper out to save a few pennies.

    Gruv Gear V-Cart

The ultimate gear cart! Heavy duty all the way around. This will be the last gear cart I will ever need. I will probably purchase the extension soon. The 500 lb capacity means you can carry anything that you could ever need to carry. If you gear is heavier than that you are doing something wrong!!!
