Choose from six emulations of classic analog consoles

No one can deny the sweet, full-bodied sound you get from mixing down your tracks on a legendary analog console. That's why Slate Digital created the Virtual Console Collection - you get that full-of-life analog sound from right inside your DAW workflow! The Virtual Console Collection 2.0 gives you two plug-ins, Virtual Channel and Virtual Mixbuss. Each plugin allows you to choose one of six modeled analog consoles. Achieving that analog board sound has never been as easy, or sounded so good.

Make your tracks sound like they were recorded to analog tape machines

Slate Digital Virtual Tape Machines is a plug-in that juices your digital recordings with vitality. Massive, fat, warm, rich (and just plain exciting), analog has the density factor - that complex dimensionality that all the best-sounding records have. Run your mixes or individual tracks through Virtual Tape Machines and tweak-to-taste to infuse your music with warm, punchy analog tape character.

Control your dynamics while maintaining the punch and impact of your mix

Slate Digital Virtual Buss Compressors give you three amazing-sounding, analog-modeled dynamics processors that are perfect for bus compression. Slate's wizardry is all over these excellent plug-ins; they've precisely modeled every nuance of classic analog compressors, right down to the nonlinear characteristics of their transformers, tubes, VCAs, harmonic and phase distortions, and amplifiers. You get FG-GREY, an impeccable model of the classic British console compressor; FG-RED (ask mix legend Chris Lord-Alge about this one); and FG-MU has the soul of the immortal Fairchild 670. Once you try them, we'll doubt you'll ever mix without them.

Slate Digital VCC/VTM/VBC Bundle Features:
  • Three plug-in collections in one bundle, for adding analog vibe to your DAW mixes
  • VCC Virtual Console Collection 2.0 packs six emulations of classic consoles for adding the sound of analog summing to digital mixes
  • VTM Virtual Tape Machines gives your tracks character as if they were recorded on analog tape machines
  • VBC Virtual Buss Compressors gives you three unique analog-modeled buss compressors with precisely emulated circuit paths

Go ahead, buy the bundle

Okay, I'm not going to get into a lot of detail here. I mainly wanted to write this because it seems most people have reviewed the individual plugins. I bought this bundle and I would recommend anyone who is looking at any of these 3 to do the same because you'll probably end up buying them anyway. First off, no I haven't used any of the actual consoles modeled by the VCC and no I've never used a real tape machine and finally, no I haven't used any of the compressors modeled by the VBC so I really can't say if these are accurate representations of the hardware or not but what I can tell you is that they sound unbelievably awesome. The VBC improves your sound just by putting it on the mix buss, not even using the compression but just running thru it (you'll want to use the compression, but it still improves the sound even without it) and the VTM just really livens the sound. The VCC is subtle so you might think to yourself that it's not doing anything.....until you take it away. That's when it's the most noticeable. Put it on before you mix, get everything sounding great then turn the VCC off and you'll instantly know the difference. Again, I don't know if these sound exactly like the hardware, and I don't care because they sound amazing and to me it's what was missing. We all know digital sounds great, but sometimes it's just missing something and these add what I'm missing. These are all great on their own, but together they can't be beat. Like I said, If you're looking at any of the 3 just do yourself a favor and buy the bundle.
