True tube tone

The Bugera V22HD Infinium sports three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes for pure tube-driven tone. And thanks to the footswitchable 2-channel design, it's easy to switch between clean and overdriven tones.

Dual operating modes

Bugera's V22HD Infinium amp lets you choose between triode or pentode operation with the flick of a switch. Triode mode has a more gentle feel and character to it, while pentode operation is decidedly more robust and lively.

Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone

Sweetwater guitarists agree that there's no tone like tube tone. But we also know that the cost involved in owning and maintaining a tube guitar amplifier can be prohibitive. Solid-state amps have come a long way, but even the best amp model can't beat true tube tone, and Bugera's Infinium technology means no more compromising what you want. The Infinium circuit is designed to optimize the performance of your output tubes and distribute the load evenly between the tubes, giving you tonal integrity and reliability. By automatically adjusting current levels, aging tubes are compensated for and your tone retains that toasty, day one sound throughout its life. Tubes, by nature, do wear out and die, but when you play an Infinium amp, you'll never worry. This exclusive technology allows you to grab whatever replacement tube you have on hand and get back to playing - there's no matching necessary. In fact, now you can mix and match tubes to create your very own signature sound without the hassle and expense of buying matched pairs. And because Infinium is a bit like having your own guitar amp tech with you on every gig, you get up to 20 times more life out of your tubes. When it is time to change one out you'll know exactly where to go, thanks to the life monitoring LED readout that keeps you in the know about your amp's health. Only Bugera makes the joy of owning and playing a tube amplifier this accessible and easy!

The Vintage Sound

This amp is the one to get if you like 70's classic sound! It is very adjustable. You can dial in a Marshall like sound, or a Fender like sound. I run this into a 4x10 Carvin extension cabinet, with 2 Weber speakers and 2 Carvin speakers in it. I have played several Les Pauls, a Strat, and an Eastman thinline, through this, all are great sounding! It is amazing for the reasonable price. I have tried many low watt tube amps, this one is by far the best. There is no hiss, or buzz, unless you go complete high gain, the Master Volume works well, I have not used the reverb, I have a tube driven reverb which I will not name here. This amp is very responsive to the tone stack adjustments. If you can learn how to adjust it for the sound you are looking for you will love this! This amp is very well thought out and very well executed. This is a really, good, amplifier.

The Corvette of Nice Gain amplifiers

Most Bang for your buck. I had it sounding like Angus's Marshall with just an Ibanez RG421MH; no pedals or anything else.. Problem is you have to have the master on 5. The clean tone is almost Fender. The reverb is ethereal. I have owned Marshall ( 2 generations of 50W) a Boogie Mark III. Most Bang for your buck this amp is. The Corvette of Nice Gain amplifiers

Excellent Amp

So far this has been an excellent amp. I'm running it through 2 1x12 Marshall Cabinets and the tone is excellent. This amp is so versatile and quiet. You won't hear a lot of hum even when using the gain channel. I've bought a bunch of joyo pedals and it responds well to any overdrive or tremelo pedals I've tried. I've had both Night Train 15 and 50 and like the tone better with this then either of those. Thanks to Derek for hooking me up and I plan to buy the V55HD Infinium when those are released. I wish the other amp makers would get something this good in this price range.

Vintage Tone Machine!

I just purchased this with a complementary 2X12 Bugera BK Cabinet, and it sounds absolutely incredible when paired with my Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany's Burstbucker PRO pickups! The cleans are deep and powerful, and the gain introduces a bluesy texture that breaks up quite nicely. I highly recommend this head and the accompanying cabinet, and I look forward to playing shows with them in the near future.

Quality amp

Solid well built amp. Tubes distort very easily, the way a tube amp should. Excellant didital reverb sounds better than blackstar and marshall reverbs. Nice looking, vintage look. Way to go bugera. Thanks sweetwate.
