Zynaptiq Unfilter Real-time Tonal Linearization Plug-in Reviews
Zynaptiq Unfilter plug-in is your quick and freakishly effective fix to all issues filter related in your audio. Whether you're trying to restore a file that's been poorly recorded or buff out a bad EQ job tragically committed to your audio, Unfilter is ready to come to your rescue. Without getting too technical, Unfilter scans your audio for damage and applies convolution (the same process use in high-end reverb engines) in reverse to fill in the gaps. I am restoring 4-5-6 decade old recordings that have lost their top end while the low end has turned to mud. I came across UNFILTER and it can bring the audio back to life to a certain extent and make unusable audio, usable. Perfect for bus stem mixing before unwanted artifact removal with RX 10 or Spectral Layers Pro or Waves Restoration. If you do restoration, absolute must buy.
outstanding
mastering industry has changed since the popularity in project studios has risen. unfilter is indispensable for repairing otherwise "un-repairable" files. ive been given lifeless, flat files with no high end above 14k. unfilter has been able to resurrect the high frequency content and does so with no to very little artifacts. at least for me... its changed the way i am able work. its expanded the scope of what is possible in the mastering stage. great tool.
Black Magic!!
This may be the first plug-in review I've ever written, so needless to say I am completely blown away by this plug-in. It's truly in a completely different league of digital processing. The video is not exaggerating, this thing really can make magic out of utter garbage.
In addition to repair work, I often find myself using it in music production to bring out extra details in my recordings & samples, which is quite inspiring. The fact that it can do this in real-time puts it, in my opinion, at least the same league as iZotope and... not many others.
