Vintage-style Tremolo with Tons of Control!

Simple tremolo effects aren't terribly interesting, which is why the guitarists here at Sweetwater tend to prefer more versatile pedals like the Behringer Ultra Tremolo UT300. This vintage style tremolo captures the warmth and natural harmonics characteristic of tube amps made in the '50s and '60s. Instead of a single intensity knob to control both the rate and depth of the effect, the UT300 lets you dial in each setting separately, offering up a wide range of effects. What's more, Behringer gave the UT300 a Wave control, which lets you change smoothly between a softer triangle waveform to a harder square, allowing you to more closely emulate transistor or optical tremolos.

Behringer Ultra Tremolo UT300 Guitar Effects Pedal Features:
  • Classic, warm, and exhilarating tremolo modeled after vintage '50s-'60s amps
  • Rate and Depth controls let you dial in the overall intensity of the effect
  • Waveform control lets you dial in softer (triangle) or harder (square) tremolo character
  • Runs on standard 9V battery or optional power supply for full pedalboard integration
  • First-class electronic On/Off switch offers noise-free operation
Get amazing tremolo tone with a Behringer UT300!

Should be called Perfect Tremolo

I use a lot of tremolo guitar in my recordings and usually I use DAW plug-ins to apply the effect. With my studio setup in mothballs though, I wanted something inexpensive to give me the tremolo effect for when I’m playing with my friends. This pedal fits the bill. It does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. The pedal is weighty and solidly built and the controls let you dial in everything from a subtle Twin Peaks vibe to that cool bit in Voivod’s Tribal Convictions. I bought the AC adapter along with the pedal and if I was forced to gripe about something it is that the power plugs into the side of the pedal rather than the top. This is the second Behringer pedal I’ve bought (the other was a distortion) and I have been very pleased with the high quality of the product given the low cost. I love the tremolo sound and this pedal delivers exactly what I want.

Behringer Tremelo

Bought this with a gift certificate. Was trying to reproduce an old fender tremolo effect with slide. This is an excellent product! Does exactly what it says. Please buy the power supply with it. Love the customer serve at Sweetwater, whether it be online or at the campus.

Awesome Tremolo

I grew up in the 50's and 60's heard a lot of Surf bands and Surf Music. (The reason I started playing guitar). I've owned more tube amps over the years than I care to mention. A lot of them with tremolo. I didn't want to spend a lot of money On a pedal so I went with the Behringer UT300. I'm glad I did! It sounds so good and it's everything you could want in a tremolo Pedal. I'm very happy with my decision to buy this pedal. What More do you need? It's a great sounding Tremolo it did everything I asked it to do. At a fantastic price! As always, the guys at Sweetwater are great and easy to work with. 5 Stars

Good tremolo

I use this pedal with my Marshall DSL 40 C and the tremolo sounds good.It nails the old CCR Midnight Special sound! The pedal seems to be well built, it's metal, not plastic, and gives you control over the rate and depth. For the price, you can't go wrong if you want to have that buttry shimmering tremolo effect.
