Simply amazing
Love love love these in-ears! Plenty of bass, vocals are forward and clear, highs are pristine but not obnoxious. Just sublime. I'm a drummer and I will say don't ask an in-ear monitor to do an on stage subwoofer or buttkicker's job! It isn't possible. But I will say these are the best earphones I've ever stuck in my ear holes. Hands down.
Bass Player Greatness
Being a 5 string bass player, I am in love with the low end kick these give you. Going from a single driver Shure setup to these are a total game changer. Even though they have a great low end, they also have super crisp upper end vocals and cymbals. Very pleased with all aspects of these in ears!
Excelentes
Es impresionante escuchar la claridad de todo voces instrumentos están brutales
These are a clear winner
I've been using Westone for about 7 years now and these are my favorite pair by far. I was skeptical about the difference I would hear from my previous 3 driver set to these 5 driver ones, but I was not disappointed. I usually run with 1 ear in and 1 out but with these I can run with both in and hear things clear enough where I don't need any of that outside feedback.
A Life Changer!
I am a bass player and these IEM earbuds are worth every penny!!!! Thanks Sweetwater!!!!
Exactly what I was looking for
I'm a Worship Bassist and our band has went IEM only for our monitoring needs. I've used and owned the Shure 215 and 545 models. I've also purchased 4 driver models in other brands. These Westone 50's are by far the best I've used. The bass response is perfect as it's clear. It also allows me to easily hear the whole band with clarity. Couldn't asked for better.
Great sound
I have typically Shure SE535s. I would have to say that they are comparable to those with a bit more clarity. Very pleased with the sound of these and the switchable cables.
Amazing sound and comfort
I got these for an allmin ear band I joined. These are incredible. I"m a bass player and I get an incredible response through these!
It’s an investment that pays off
Yea they are way overpriced but they sound great I had SHURE 425 dual drivers and these make love sound ie monitors duable
Stunning
My UM50 Pro's are amazing... The clarity is stunning. Well worth the price.
This is really picky, but.
I would have given five stars. The buds are great and full range is articulated very well. I wish the would have color coated Left and Right. Blue - left ear and Red - right ear. It has a L and R on the bud, but difficult to see at quick glance. Especially during live performance under stage lighting.I have the clear shell.
Great IE's got them on sale so even better
I've had WD40's for several years and like them a lot and when these came up on sale I bought, and like them even more.. great bass and kick (I'm a bassist) and very clear mids and highs. I recommend these if your not going the custom molds route.
Not good for guitarist.
These are great for a drummer or bassist. Too much low mids for me as a guitarist using a kemper.
Sounded great while they lasted.
I've had these for about five years and 1 earbud just recently stopped working. They're out of warranty and Westone doesn't do repairs. They sounded great while I had them but they were very lightly used and never misstreated so I'm not happy with their quality.
Sounded Great - Wiring Flimsy - Broke after a few gigs
I purchased these and really liked them. However, never gigged with them (due to Covid). Used them gently for 3 shows and the Right wire shorted out. Sometimes it works - most time it doesn't. If I wiggle the right wire - I may hear something out of it. Very annoying playing a show mostly in Left Ear Mono, and have the Right Ear kick in... I submitted a warranty request with Westone...let's see how they respond. Not happy since I paid $ for these.
Sounded great, but did not last
I purchased these expensive Westone UM Pro 50 IEMs for playing bass with a group and they worked great for a year. I used them once or twice a month. Recently I started having trouble with one ear cutting out, and then the sound went completely wonky - really bad. They are now useless. I ordered them last year on Dec 3rd, so they are now two days out of warranty. I am frustrated. I recommend using another brand beside Westones because mine did not last a reasonable amount of time, especially for the high cost.
