The Focal Trio6 Be has created quite a stir here at Sweetwater. Here's why: Aside from the fact that it's a Focal product (a de facto guarantee of reference-grade performance), the Focal Trio6 Be offers a number of benefits that may not be apparent at first glance. A 3-way design with a 1" tweeter, a 5" woofer, and an 8" subwoofer, the Trio6 Be delivers stunningly accurate reproduction of the audio spectrum from 35Hz to 40kHz (+/- 3dB), resolving even the most minute details. Its circular midrange-tweeter housing may be rotated for either horizontal or vertical orientation. But here's where it gets really interesting: in Focus mode (which you can trigger remotely), the Trio6 Be operates as a two-way speaker, employing only the 5" driver and the tweeter and limiting frequencies to between 90Hz and 20kHz - ideal for checking the quality of your mix on playback systems with limited frequency response.

Great monitors
I'm super impressed with these incredibly detailed, revealing, pleasing sounding monitors. The bass is tight and focused. The upper end is wonderful. I routinely hear things I've never heard before. Very low ear fatigue. I can truly trust them. Switching to 2 way mode is less drastic of a change than I thought it would be. Both modes are very useful and sound fantastic.
Being able to reorient the mid and tweeter in horizontal mode is a great feature.
I love these and recommend them.

These monitors are beyond awesome. They are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous. I am in love with them. They just blow me away every time I listen to them. They are one of the best purchases I have made. They are well worth the price. Save the money and buy them, you will never regret it. I will never regret buying them.

Wow !!! simply AMAZING... I can't find any faults with these monitors. We are setting up a B room at our studio and needed a great set of monitors to compliment our Barefoot MM27's (Gen 1) in the A room. Naturally we wanted a second pair of Barefoot for the consistency between rooms however the timing of a 10 K investment on a new pair (for the Gen 2) wasn't in the cards. Thought about a used pair of Barefoot Gen 1's but I've had some bad luck buying used monitors in the past. So after doing some research online I took a chance on these as they are fairly new and bought them without having actually heard them. We were hoping that they would come close to the Barefoot and tie us over for the time being, but our expectations were completely blown away..they sounded better than our MM27's!!! Tighter/deeper bass extension, better imaging, more articulate/ clean in the mid range and overall more clarity/detail in the high end without sounding harsh. Amazing is all I can say. I don't know how Focal can make monitors that outperform the competition for half the price. We've already moved the Focal's to the A room and put the MM27's up for sale as we plan on getting a second set of these asap. 5 Stars all the way. Great job Focal!
