Lightweight kickback design puts great tone in a convenient package
Peavey bridged the design between their Tour Series heads and cabs and the new ProBass combos to create the Tour TKO 115. It's got the power you need to thump, but it's designed with portability and light weight in mind. The Tour TKO 115 bass combo amplifier offers up 400 watts in a 1 x 15" package. There's a tweeter, but you can turn it off with a switch if you like. For convenience onstage or in practice, the Peavey Tour TKO 115 also kicks back.

The Peavey Tour TKO 115 also sports an active/passive switch, so you can match it to your pickups.

Powerful, rugged enough for the gig - and cool-looking, too
The Tour TKO 115 nails it on power and tone - and because it's a Peavey, you know it's ready to stand up to the demands of gig after gig. Beyond that, though, the Tour TKO 115 is just plain cool-looking - making a statement in the garage, the practice hall, and at the show. It's got a blue Peavey logo that's backlit, so your rig will glow onstage.

I'm impressed!

Sorry for the delayed review but I had to play with this a couple times before I could really review it. I recently reunited with my old bandmates for a 25th year reunion. I had a 100 watt Acoustic combo that I used in church and was adequate there but it quickly became clear at our first practice that I needed something more to compete with our drummer's heavy hands and our guitarist's Laney Ironheart. After looking at quite a few other combos, and communicating quite a bit with Jonathan, I selected the Tour TKO 115. It has all the features I need; xlr line out, decent eq, big speaker (and a tweeter!), and with the 2×10 Headliner extension cabinet, LOTS of power. I played it with two different basses at low and high volumes and it sounds great. I am glad I found this. Thanks again to Jonathan for giving me advice and pointing me in the right direction. If you're thinking of buying this amp, do it, you won't be sorry.

Best Combo in its Price Range

This amp has been my workhorse for over 5 years in all sorts of gigs and practice situations, and it is still going strong. 7 band EQ allows you to dial in your perfect tone - I get crisp, punchy highs and booming, sternum-shaking lows from this thing. The 15 inch speaker combined with the tweeter gives a punch and clarity of sound that works great with slapping, pick playing, and digging in for solos. DI on the back allows you to easily dial into any venue's system and the kickback is nice if you want to use it as a monitor. Also it has an external speaker capability - try hooking up a 2x12 or 4x10 cab to this thing and you've got yourself a serious rig! IMO, it blows other combos in its price range out of the water. I've played similarly sized/priced combos from Ampeg, Fender, Orange, Behringer, GK, etc. and this amp remains my favorite. I highly recommend the Peavey Tour TKO 115 to any bassist in the market for a quality combo amp. The only negative - this thing is HEAVY! If you value your lower back health, you should get a friend to help carry it.

amazing quality bass amp!

Peavey Tour TKO 115 400 watt bass amplifier provides a great sound and volume level and can be heard just fine with the rest of the band. the kick back design rocks! my drummer is very happy because he can hear me really well now. I recommend this amp for anyone who intends on playing small gigs and being in a metal band.

Powerhouse

This should be the KA 115 instead since it definitely kicks it. Could sound a little warmer but a lot can be done to help that. Overall amazing power in a very cool enclosure. Definitely like the kickback design. Great for practicing and performing.
