Pocket sized britsh sound................that bites and kicks

Well not pocket sized literally......but for an Orange combo......It is portable bite with a kick, that does not compromise the Orange sound.
I opened the box.......moment of silence. So impressed with the build and care in putting this amp together. Flawless. Plug it, connect a guitar. Trick every button, 7W, 15W, tone, gain. I must of played with every combination on this amp, and my Fender. Liked all of them. Pedals.......maybe a reverb and delay. This amp is worth every penny. get one.....

Have done live in bands and a good deal of recording original music

    Solid amp

I purchased the TT with the thought of complementing my Marshall and Mesa Boogie amps and pleased with the TT capabilities. Most amps these days have effects loop jacks and many have control over the volume where the TT does not. For me this was of no concern having no effects jacks, as it is easy enough to go straight into the normal input. There is no built in reverb, which I was surprised that Orange did not offer one yet again as with the effects loop was not an issue. At time of purchase (which I always do with my sales representative), I inquired to which reverb I should purchase along with the amp. John recommended Hall of Fame from TC Electronics, which I would advocate, to anyone purchasing any amplifier even with a reverb. I must have spent 30 minutes exploring the reverb and could have spent more time too. Getting back to the amp, I plan to use it for both rock and metal and it sure does deliver the sounds I expected. I was pleased that it could not be directly compared to my Marshall or Mesa Boogies amps. If the TT was close to them I would have been disappointed as I was looking for a different sound. For professional musicians that are considering this amp I would recommend the 1x12 version rather than the 1x10. For those who are not professional musicians either model will do.

In regards to my vote, I think most would give this amp a five star rating but with me I was not completely blown away. If blow away was not in with the five star rating I would then have given it five stars. Hope that does not sound odd but that is how I am. You will not regret purchasing this amp.

Lastly kudos to John Ptak (my sales rep) for his assistance with my purchase especially with the reverb as my mind was already made up on the amp.
