Finger style chord melody jazz in Tele Territory
I have been playing guitar for over 47 years now. Due to advanced arthritis in both hands I have had to bid a reluctant farewell to the acoustic guitar world since the mid 90's and continue the journey with arthritis-friendly gear. Since I have found the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster to be a good fit for my condition and style of playing, I became curious if I could find many of the same features that make this strat model disability-friendly in a Telecaster, i.e., contoured alder body, maple neck w/rose wood fretboard, compound radius neck and noiseless P/U's, and yet get that characteristic Tele neck P/U plus hard tail tone for finger style chord melody jazz. I am pleased to give this model a 5 star YES to all the above. I certainly understand there is a lot more to consider than just the guitar brand, model and features and musical taste when selecting a good fit for each player. Yet it goes without saying the Tele is a classic clean sound ( and overdrive ) tone monster hands down and any piece of gear that's been around since 1952 and included in nearly all musical genres must have something going for it in my humble opinion.
